Charlene Joyce Nellsch, 69, a Carson City resident, died April 25, 2007.
Mrs. Nellsch was born Sept. 3, 1937, in Clearvale, Kan., to Charles and Marjorie Pistole.
She graduated high school in Clearvale.
She was a homemaker.
Before moving to Carson City, Mrs. Nellsch lived in California and Kansas.
She was a Baptist and volunteered at the Salvation Army and with Meals on Wheels.
Among her survivors are her mother of Ceadervale, Kan.; sons Randy Nellsch of Kansas, Roy Nellsch of Alabama, Ron Nellsch of Kansas, David Garrett of Fernley and Daniel Garrett of Colorado; daughters Jayca Smith of Montana and Tammy Shields of Oregon; brother Mike Pistole of Virginia; sisters Vickie Plummer of Antelope, Calif., and Carolyn Pistole of Washington; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and three nieces and nephews.
Autumn Funerals and Cremations is in charge of arrangements.
