A memorial service for David James Halabuk Jr., 20, a Carson City resident, will be 2 p.m. Saturday at FitzHenry's Funeral Home, 3945 Fairview Drive.
Mr. Halabuk died April 28, 2007, at Twentynine Palms, Calif. He was born Oct. 28, 1986, in South Lake Tahoe, to David James Halabuk Sr. and Kerri Jane Jenkins.
Before moving to Carson City, Mr. Halabuk lived in Gardnerville.
He was a fabrication welder at Shaffer's Offroad in Carson City, and belonged to the Pirate 4X4 Community.
He enjoyed four-wheeling.
Among his survivors are his parents; sister Nicole; grandfather Rudy Halabuk; grandparents Ron and Pat Jenkins and numerous extended family members.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
