Mildred A. Proctor

A celebration of life for Mildred A. Proctor, 90, a Carson City resident for the past 10 years, will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at 501 W. Winnie Lane.

Mrs. Proctor died April 17, 2007, at Carson Convalescent Center. She was born Sept. 7, 1916, in Charleston W.Va.

Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Mesa, Ariz.

Mrs. Proctor worked on the Apollo projects at NASA.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Maury, and sons Larry and Herman.

Among her survivors are son and daughter-in-law Ronald "Jim" and Janet; daughter Janyce Wutzke; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
