Peggy Schultz Nagel LaFramboise, 86, a Carson City resident for the past six years, died May 16 at Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center.
She was born Nov. 26, 1920, in Detroit.
She grew up and attended schools in the Detroit area.
Mrs. LaFramboise retired from the Birmingham Eccentric newspaper after 35 years.
She enjoyed quilting, ceramics and most types of crafts. She also enjoyed traveling and tracing family genealogy.
She was preceded in death by sister Phyllis.
Among her survivors are her son and daughter-in-law Philip and Mary Nagel of Carson City; son, Charles LaFramboise of Portsmouth, Va.; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
