The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• Casey Paulsen, 29, a laborer from Susanville, was arrested Wednesday in the 2700 block of North Carson Street on a Lassen County, Calif., warrant on drug charges. Bail was set at $50,000.

• Jimmy Ray Currier, 21, unemployed from Silver Springs, was arrested at 4:06 p.m. in the 100 block of South Carson Street on suspicion of felony attempted burglary and disturbing the peace. Bail was set at $10,467.

• April May, 33, unemployed from Elko, was arrested at 9:11 a.m. Wednesday in the 1100 block of Beverly Drive on suspicion of felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $3,632.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:

• Coroner call in the 200 block of Koontz Lane at 4:08 a.m.

• Graffiti reports on South Carson Street, Woodside Drive and Etta Place.

• Battery report at Carson Middle School at 10:34 a.m.

• Child abuse report in the 900 block of East Musser Street at 3:43 p.m.

• Residential burglary reports in the 4800 block of South Edmonds Drive and 600 block of College Parkway.

• Welfare check in the 700 block of Ridgeway Court at 8:03 p.m.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:

• Warrant arrest at 12:53 a.m. at Fifth and Deodar streets in Silver Springs.

• Misdemeanor arrest in the 400 block of Sheepcamp Drive in Dayton at 4:36 a.m.

• Four felony arrests in the 2900 block of Walker Court in Fernley at 7:20 a.m.

• Misdemeanor arrest on Mason Pass Road in Mason Valley at 10:22 a.m.

• A Fernley woman reported someone called and said he going to put $900 in her checking account, but when she gave him her account number, he instead took money out.
