A Foothill woman was identified as the person killed this morning in a fatal accident at Highway 395 and Muller Lane.
According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, Kathleen Holton, 58, was driving a 2001 Subaru Forrester eastbound on Muller Lane. She stopped at the sign and then pulled out in front of a 2004 Ford F-350 pickup driven by Jacks Valley resident Donald Leverty, 59.
The accident occurred at 7:54 a.m., according to the report.
Holton was declared dead at the scene. Leverty was taken to Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center with minor injuries, where he was treated and released, the Highway Patrol reported.
Both drivers were wearing seatbelts.
