Barricade ends slow-moving pursuit along Tahoe's west shore

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• A 27-year-old Carson City man was arrested in the 3500 block of Woodside Drive on suspicion of misdemeanor arrest of a probationer, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana. Bail was set at $4,864.

• A 48-year-old cook from Sparks was arrested at 8:15 p.m. in the 800 block of East Musser Street on a 2005 Carson City warrant for injury to others property. Bail was set at $1,000.

• A 19-year-old Stagecoach man was arrested at 9:50 a.m. on Highway 50 East in Lyon County on a Carson warrant for battery. Bail was set at $1,132.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:

• A woman reported at 7:03 a.m. that a man in a silver four-door car tried to pull her into his vehicle in the 2000 block of North Carson Street on the north side of the Safeway. Police were did not find the suspect.

• Coroner call on North Sutro Terrace at 8:45 p.m.

• Accident on Goni Road, North Carson Street and North Roop Street.

• Threat report on North Saliman Road at 2:21 p.m.

• Coroner call on Medical Parkway at 4:47 p.m.

• Threat report on Research Way at 9:13 p.m.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:

• Coroner call on North Main Street in Fernley at 5:52 a.m.

• A man wanted to reported he was attacked by a co-worker on Forth Churchill Road at 9:04 a.m.

• A report of Christmas decorations stolen from a yard in Fernley at 9:29 a.m.

• A woman on Three Iron Court reported her tires had been slashed and her car egged at 11:11 a.m.
