L.A. Perks Plumbing and Heating of Sparks is the low bidder in proving tanks
for a new fueling facility planned for Silver Springs.
The $61,189 bid will get the district two 1,000-gallon tanks, one for diesel
and one for gasoline. In addition, fuel pumps and an electronic card reading
system are planned for land next to the schools in Silver Springs.
The new facility will help cut down on cost of both gasoline and both costs
and times for school bus drivers who go to that area, school officials said.
