A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 13, 2007 at 12:00 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints located at 411 North Saliman Road, Carson City, NV 89701 for John Dennis Chambers, Sr., 65, a lifelong Nevada resident, who died September 22, 2007 in Reno, Nevada.
Mr. Chambers was born on July 10, 1944 in Fallon, Nevada to E. Dorothy and Michael Chambers. He retired from the State of Nevada, Department of Prisons. He lived in Fallon, Nevada for the past twenty years. He enjoyed family and friends, his dogs, and church.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Among his survivors are a daughter, Justine Ann Chambers of Carson City, a son, John Dennis Chambers, Jr. of Idaho Falls, Idaho; a son, Steven Perry Chambers and daughter in-law, Renae Chambers of Darrington, Washington; a brother, Everette Chambers of Orange, Florida; and an Aunt, Edith Libby of Idaho. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
