The Nevada Department of Transportation has issued a high wind warning for Highway 395 in Washoe Valley, from north Carson City to the Bowers Mansion turnoff " campers and trailers are not advised.
Today's weather for the Carson City area calls for mostly cloudy skies with isolated showers in the afternoon and highs from 52-62.
Southwest winds around 10 mph increasing to 15-20 mph with gusts up to 35 mph in the afternoon.
