Care Flight has transported one person from an 8:43 a.m. accident on Arrowhead Drive at Bowers Lane just before 9 a.m.
April Smith, 40, was conscious and alert when firefighters cut away her vehicle and removed her from her Toyota Highlander. Smith lost control, drove onto the dirt shoulder, struck a power pole and rolled several times, according to Carson City Sheriff's Sgt. Scott McDaniel.
Sierra Pacific Power Company crews are working on a downed power line, and to restore power to the immediate area.
Traffic on Arrowhead is stopped from Centennial Drive at the east to Bowers Lane from the west.
