A power outage in East Carson City was due to rain and a lightning strike, said Sierra Pacific Spokesman Karl Walquist.
Crews restored power about 4 p.m. and the Nevada Highway Patrol and street department directed traffic tangled by non-working traffic lights along the Highway 50 East corridor from Deer Run Road heading west.
