Sheriffs' Log

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• A 47-year-old casino chef was arrested at 10:31 p.m. Monday in the 500 block of Briarwood Drive on suspicion of misdemeanor failure to maintain lane and drunken driving. Bail was set at $1,239.

• A 21-year-old unemployed Dayton woman was arrested at 11:17 p.m. Monday in the 7700 block of Highway 50 East on a warrant for failure to appear. Bail was set at $500.

• A 59-year-old retail store employee was arrested at 8:36 a.m. Monday at Fifth Street and Butti Lane on suspicion of misdemeanor second-offense drunken driving, driving on a license revoked for DUI, failure to maintain lane and driving without insurance. Bail was set at $2,103.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:

• A parent reported at 7:41 a.m. his son was threatened at Empire Elementary School last week.

• Accident at Northgate Lane and College Parkway at 7:53 a.m.

• Report of a man passing a fraudulent check at a North Carson Street casino at 8:53 a.m.

• Report of prescription medication missing from the 1800 block of East Long Street at 11:14 a.m.

• A Gardnerville woman was arrested for shoplifting from J.C. Penney at 11:35 a.m. She had her children with her at the time.

• Driver reported a window shattered in the 300 block of South Carson Street at 12:02 p.m.

• Accident on College Parkway at Lompa Lane at 3:41 p.m.

• Accident at Nevada Street and West Sixth Street at 4:13 p.m.

Lyon County

• A vehicle on Roundup Road in Fernley was bombarded by eggs overnight.

• Accident report on Fortune Drive in Dayton.

• Accident report on Six Mile Canyon Road at 7:41 a.m.

• Misdemeanor arrest in Mark Twain at 9:22 a.m.

• Arrest on Shadow Lane in Fernley at 3:01 p.m.

• Misdemeanor arrest on Palmer Court in Mason Valley at 8:49 p.m.

• Battery report on Shadow Lane in Fernley at 10:56 p.m.

Storey County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:

• Arrest on Waltham Way at 7:39 a.m.

• Accident on Interstate 80 at the Patrick exit at 3:58 p.m.
