• Coroner call in the 400 block of Hot Springs Road at 7:01 a.m.

• Vehicle theft report on North Carson Street at 10:25 a.m.

• Vehicle injury report on Conestoga Drive at 11:34 a.m.

• Accidents on Research Way, South Carson Street, North Roop Street and East Telegraph Street.

• Property injury report on Mountain Street at 4:16 p.m.

• Domestic battery reports on Spooner Drive and South Harbin Avenue.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

• A mother called to report at 9:26 a.m. that her daughter was battered on a Dayton High School bus by a boy and wanted to press charges.

• Misdemeanor arrest at the Quick Stop market in Fernley at 11:33 a.m.

• Fraud report on Highway 95 Alternate in Mason Valley at 4:25 p.m.

• Report of someone removing the bolts from the fence at Lowe's in Fernley and stealing items at 5:41 p.m.

• A woman reported a man she knew was trying to get into her home on White Bluffs Circle in Fernley at 8:25 p.m. The man left before police arrived.

• Misdemeanor domestic battery arrested on Ring Road in Dayton at 9:15 p.m.

Storey County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

• Traffic citation issued on Waltham Way at 7:27 a.m.

• Report on Main Street at 1:45 p.m. of a missing female dog of mixed breed wearing a red and yellow collar.

• Report in the Virginia City Highlands at 2 p.m. of a missing chocolate Labrador with a camouflage collar.

The following people were recently booked into the Storey County Jail:

• A 35-year-old California man was arrested on Sunday on suspicion of misdemeanor destruction of property in the Mustang area.

• A 22-year-old Silver Springs man was arrested Saturday in the Tracy area on suspicion of misdemeanor driving under the influence of drugs.

• Adam Darger, 34 of Utah, was arrested on Oct. 24 in the McCarran area on suspicion of felony third-offense drunken driving.

• A 23- year-old Dayton man was arrested on Oct. 23 in Virginia City on suspicion of drunken driving.

• Timothy Laney, 27 of Virginia City, was arrested on Oct. 23 in the Virginia City Highlands on suspicion of gross misdemeanor unlawful taking of a motor vehicle.
