Appeal photo chief earns AP award for photo of bear cubs

A mother bear and two male cubs were tranquilized after roaming around a west Carson City neighborhood. Nevada Department of Wildlife biologists, who tagged, tattooed the bears, and took hair and blood samples, said the family will be relocated in the Carson Range on Sept. 6.
