A celebration of life for Deborah Ann Byers, 63, a lifelong resident of the Carson Valley will be 2 p.m. Saturday at the United Methodist Church in Gardnerville.
Mrs. Byers died Sept. 9, 2007, at Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center. She was born July 13, 1944, to Henry and Alice Haase, in Gardnerville. She married Kent Byers.
She was past director of the Carson Valley Museum and Cultural Center.
She was a member of the Literary Club.
She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.
Among her survivors are son and daughter-in-law Steven and Carissa Byers of Kimberly, Idaho; daughter Julie Hughes of Carson City; grandchildren Jeffery and Jacob of Kimberly, and Michael and Jacob of Carson City.
