A memorial Mass for Violet L. Bushman, 82, a Carson City resident, will be 1:30 p.m. Friday at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church. Rosary will be 1 p.m. Friday.
Mrs. Bushman died Sept. 9, 2007, at her home. She was born Jan. 22, 1925, to Thomas Pickett and Margaret Winn in Poplar, Mont. She married John Bushman on Aug. 15, 1948.
She was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband; sister Ila Mae McAnally; and brother Richard Pickett.
Among her survivors are sons and daughters-in-law Bill and Theresa Fields and Gary and Jetty Bushman; daughter and son-in-law Gayle and Geoff Gilchrest; sisters, Betty Marsh, Annie Rogers, Rita Stephens and Fernie Cortese; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
