The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• David Michael Franks, 43, a manager, was arrested at 1:02 a.m. Wednesday in the 400 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor contempt of court. Bail was set at $3,700. Also arrested was a 33-year-old transient on suspicion of misdemeanor obstructing a peace officer and failure to appear on a traffic matter. Bail was set at $839.

• Freddie Little, 43, a laborer, was arrested at 1:45 a.m. Wednesday in the 3200 block of Market Street on suspicion of felony probation violation. No bail was set.

• A 48-year-old unemployed Carson City resident was arrested at 2:39 p.m. Wednesday at Stanton and Ladera drives on suspicion of misdemeanor driving under the influence second offense and misdemeanor failure to appear. Bail was set at $12,632.

• A 25-year-old unemployed Virginia City man was arrested at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 800 block of East Musser Street on suspicion of misdemeanor violation of alternative sentencing. Bail was set at $3,000 cash.

• Mark Van Shields, 55, unemployed of Carson City, was arrested at 1:13 p.m. Tuesday on Flint Road on suspicion of gross misdemeanor possession of a firearm while intoxicated and misdemeanor drunken driving. Bail was set at $3,632.

• A 28-year-old dishwasher from Ely was arrested at 2:15 p.m. Tuesday in the 800 block of Musser Street on suspicion of misdemeanor violation of a suspended sentence.

Storey County

The following people were booked into the Storey County Jail recently:

• A 52-year-old California man was arrested in Virginia City on Sept. 4 on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery.

• Shawn Richardson, 30 of Sun Valley, was arrested Sept. 6 in Virginia City on suspicion of felony burglary.

• An 18-year-old Virginia City man was arrested on Sept. 6 in Virginia City on suspicion of misdemeanor obstructing a peace officer.

• An 18-year-old Virginia City Highlands woman was arrested on Sept. 6 in Virginia City on suspicion of misdemeanor possession of marijuana and obstructing a peace officer.

• Anthony Sinardi, 54, of Virginia City was arrested Sept. 6 in Virginia City on suspicion of gross misdemeanor being under the influence of a controlled substance.

• An 18-year-old Virginia City Highlands woman was arrested Sept. 6 in Virginia City on suspicion of misdemeanor obstructing a peace officer.

• A 53-year-old Virginia City man was arrested Sept. 8 in Virginia City on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery.

• A 55-year-old Reno man was arrested Sept. 9 on State Route 341 on suspicion of misdemeanor drunken driving.
