A memorial service for Clive "Azzie" Azevedo, 70, a 22-year Minden resident will be 1 p.m. Sunday at FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home in Gardnerville.
Mr. Azevedo died Sept. 10, 2007, at his home. He was born Nov. 24, 1937, in San Francisco to Joseph and Lillian Azevedo.
He served in the U.S. Navy and worked in the gaming industry for 25 years, and drove the special education school bus for Douglas County for 10 years.
Mr. Azevedo was a Nevada resident for 45 years.
He enjoyed the outdoors, R.V. camping and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Yvonne Cary.
Among his survivors are his wife Coralyn Azevedo of Minden; sons Jimmy Martin, Robert Leedom; daughter Holly Coughlin; sister Barbara Gotelli; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
