James Arthur Kruse, 74, a 53-year resident of Carson City died Sept. 17, 2007, at his home.

He was born Aug. 25, 1933, in Mineral Point, Wis., to Alfred and Madge Kruse.

Before coming to Carson City he lived in Mineral Point.

He married Nancy Bradshaw on June 6, 1980, in Carson City.

He worked as a bank manager for 40 years retiring from First Interstate Bank.

Mr. Kruse was a member of Sertoma and the SIERA Radio Club. He enjoyed Ham radio.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Nada.

Among his survivors are his wife of Carson City; sons and daughters-in-law Jeffrey Jones and Jo Salatas and Randy and Diane Jones; daughter Karyn Bader; sister Gerda Engels; six grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

At his request, no services will be held.

Memorial contributions can be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Capitol City Cremation is in charge of arrangements.
