The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:


• A 24-year-old painter from Carson City was arrested at 11:22 a.m. Thursday on suspicion of misdemeanor failure to appear in court. Bail was set at $1,531.


• A 47-year-old advertising worker from Dayton was arrested at 2:52 p.m. Thursday on Highway 50 East on suspicion of misdemeanor interfering with an officer. Bail was set at $500.


• A 30-year-old janitor from Carson City was arrested at 10:41 p.m. Thursday in the 1400 block of North Peters Street on suspicion of misdemeanor violating the terms of his sentence. Bail was set at $100.


• Rebecca Collins, a 24-year-old server from Carson City was arrested at 1:23 a.m. Friday on suspicion of felony violation of probation and misdemeanor drunken driving and traffic violations. No bail was set.


• A 38-year-old Carson City man was arrested Friday at 3:23 a.m. on suspicion of misdemeanor violating the terms of his sentence. Bail was set at $1,000.


Lyon County


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:


• Two men were arrested on warrants after a traffic stop in Smith Valley.


• A 16-year-old female in Silver Springs reported swelling on her face from a domestic dispute.


• A woman in Fernley reported that someone shot her cat with a pellet gun.


Storey County


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:


• Hot water heater fire reported at 8:45 a.m. on North L Street in Virginia City.


• Vandalism reported at 2:25 p.m. on USA Parkway.


• Random shots reported at 3:23 p.m. east of the Wagon Wheel in Virginia City.
