Linda Caryl Briggs

A memorial service for Linda Caryl Briggs, 66, a 7-year resident of Minden, will be 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Paul's Lutheran Family Church, 1201 Saliman Rd.

Mrs. Briggs died Sept. 22, 2007, at her home. She was born June 13, 1941, to Walter Triffle and Mildred Zorvan in Detroit, Mich.

Prior to moving to Minden she lived in Livonia, Mich. She married Donald A. Briggs May 27, 1961, in Dearborn, Mich. She was a homemaker and an automotive quality liaison. She enjoyed bowling and synchronized swimming. She was past president of the Parent Teacher Association.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Marc Briggs, and brother, Gregory Triffle.

Among her survivors are her husband of 46 years of Minden; son and daughter-in-law, David and Virginia Briggs; daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Ted Sergott; brother and sister-in-law, Walter and Shirley Triffle; and seven grandchildren.

Cremation will take place at FitzHenry's Crematory.
