Dayton boys soccer stays unbeaten in league

The Dayton High boys soccer team stayed unbeaten in the Northern 3A with a 3-0 win against Spring Creek on Friday.

Kyle Swann scored twice and Luis Melgarejo scored on a header for the Dust Devils (7-1, 5-0).

Goalie David Gomez posted his fifth shutout of the year and Juan Samarena and Julian Ballatore also played well defensively. "My whole team played great, especially the defense," Dayton coach Juan Lopez said.
