A Silver Springs woman was arrested Thursday on drug charges following an 18-month investigation into her alleged methamphetamine dealings in Dayton, Stagecoach and Silver Springs.

Delana Kay Watts, 34, was booked into the Lyon County Jail on suspicion of two felony counts of trafficking, two counts of conspiracy to violate the uniformed controlled substance act, possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of sale and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.

According to a news release from the Lyon County Sheriff's Department, the Sheriff's Narcotics Division served a search warrant on Watts' Meadow Lane home in Stagecoach on Thursday. The details of the search were not available, however, items taken in a Virginia City burglary were allegedly recovered.

Watts was not home at the time, but officers subsequently arrested her in Dayton where she was allegedly found to have on her 1.6 grams of methamphetamine, a digital scale commonly used to weigh drugs and "money consistent with the sale of methamphetamine," according to the release.

Watts is being held on $228,632 bail.
