Property taxes in Storey County will not decrease by 3.23 cents per $100 valuation. Only the property tax rate will be cut. Also, the county's indigent medical fund's part of the tax rate decreased from 6 cents to 3 cents. A story on page A5 of Monday's Appeal was incorrect.
