Road work continues in Carson City with areas of delays, mainly Fairview Drive between Roop Street and South Edmonds, and Highway 50 East between Airport Road and Saliman Road.
Traffic will be controlled at times; alternate routes are advised.
The Nevada Department of Transportation at 6:11 a.m. reports all routes open in Northern Nevada with no controls with the following exceptions::
SR 431 " Chains or snow tires required for 7.8 miles between 4.8 miles north of SR 28 and 11.9 miles south of Highway 395.
SR 88 " Chains or snow tires required for 0.4 miles between Kirkwood and 0.4 miles east of Kirkwood, Calif.
Today's weather will be sunny with highs 54-64 and northwest winds around 10 mph.
Tonight, partly cloudy with lows 25-35 and light winds.
Friday, partly cloudy with highs 63-73 and southwest winds around 10 mph shifting to the west 15-20 mph in the afternoon.
