Fire crews from Washoe County and Carson City are responding to a fire on the north end of Washoe Valley.
The fire is reported near the fire station off North Eastlake Boulevard, east of Highway 395. It is reportedly burning in a north, northeasterly direction toward Andrew Lane, according to Nevada Highway Patrol Trooper Chuck.
Andrew Lane access is being shut down by the Nevada Highway Patrol.
Winds through the Valley are estimated at between 60 and 70 mph.
