Lance Gilman, exclusive broker for the Tahoe Reno Industrial Center, said that an additional two miles of track is being added to the center's internal railroad system to serve new companies.

When the latest rail project is completed there will be more than 10 miles of track in the center.

The tracks at TRI are all on the west side of the four-lane USA Parkway and there are no plans at present to bring the rail line across the expressway. The rail line will continue to be extended as the project grows.

Also, footings have been poured for a third site for retail in the industrial center. The building for the footings will be 9,000 square feet and the first of four structures planned for the nine-acre site by owner Vince Griffith of Reno Engineering
