Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

- Rory William Torvik, 18, a laborer from Dayton, was arrested at 9:50 p.m. Tuesday in the 800 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance. Bail was set at $2,500.

- Michael Hopper, 40, a carpenter from Carson City, was arrested at 3:16 p.m. Tuesday on suspicion of felony possession of methamphetamine for sale, felony possession of meth, gross misdemeanor possession of a credit card without cardholder's consent and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $13,232.

- Felipa Carbajal-Rojas, 38, of Mound House, was arrested at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the 900 block of East Musser Street on suspicion of felony grand larceny. Bail was set at $25,000.

- A 41-year-old waitress from Carson City was arrested at 5:39 p.m. Tuesday in the 4100 block of Montez Drive on suspicion of felony assault with a deadly weapon and misdemeanor domestic battery. Bail was set at $23,132.

- A 33-year-old transient was arrested at 10:46 a.m. Wednesday in the 200 block of Jeanell Drive on suspicion of misdemeanor probation violation, disorderly conduct and interference with a peace officer. Bail was set at $4,379.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

- Report of three people looking inside parked vehicles at 1:03 a.m. in the 800 block of South Roop Street. A felony arrest was made.

- Coroner call in the 1300 block of Rabe Way at 8:05 a.m.

- Report of a shed behind a vacant home on Bunch Way broken into sometime before 10:17 a.m.

- Report of an attempted burglary at a complex laundry room on Hot Springs Road.

- Accident at South Roop Street and Industrial Park Drive at 12:01 p.m.

- Report of two men and a woman taking a $500 roll of copper wire from Curry and Musser streets at 12:55 p.m.

- Coroner call in the 1600 of Medical Parkway at 2:09 p.m.

- Report of an elderly man who repeatedly steals from Walgreens, back in the store and doing it again, at 4:09 p.m. The man was cited.

- Coroner call in the 1600 of Medical Parkway at 6:16 p.m.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

- Misdemeanor arrest in the 2200 block of Highway 50 East in Dayton at 9:08 a.m.

- Projectors, laptops, hardware and other miscellaneous items were stolen from Fernley High School sometime before 10:13 a.m.

- Accident on Pine Cone Road in Dayton at 2:27 p.m.

- Fight report on Nevada Avenue in Silver Springs at 2:17 p.m.

- Misdemeanor arrest on Sandy Avenue in Yerington at 7:52 p.m.

- Residential burglary report on Brown Drive in Mound House at 11:26 p.m.

Storey County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

- A woman reported she arrived at her home on South C Street at 7:38 a.m. and realized that someone had backed a car into her porch and left.

- Report of a child possibly being bitten by an animal on Lousetown Road at 11:13 a.m.

- A man with a warrant surrendered to police at the Storey County Sheriff's Office at 6:01 p.m.
