Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• A 39-year-old waiter from Carson City was arrested at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in the 400 block of West Winnie Lane on suspicion of misdemenaor domestic battery. Bail was set at $3,132.

• A 46-year-old carpenter from Carson City was arrested at 10:49 p.m. in the 1800 block of East Long Street on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery. Bail was set at $3,132.

• Auxilio Almaraz-Lomeli, 28, an office cleaner from Carson City, was arrested at 6:55 p.m. Wednesday in the 700 block of Hot Springs Road on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery. Bail was set at $3,132.

• Mark Friesell, 41, of Carson City, was arrested at 3:38 p.m. Thursday in the 4100 block of Midas Way on suspicion of two counts of gross misdemeanor assault on a peace officer and one count of misdemeanor threats. Police were called out to his home on a report of a domestic battery. When they arrived, Friesell allegedly became upset at them and threatened to "drill" one of the officers, according to the arrest report. Later, after being repeatedly told by deputies to remain seated, Friesell allegedly "rose quickly, pulling his right hand forward and pointing it at me. (His) hand was in the shape of a gun," the report states. Deputies tazed Friesell and arrested him. The tazer prongs landed in Friesell's neck.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:

• Report of two vehicles hit with graffiti on Poole Way sometime before 7:39 a.m.

• Report at 9:31 a.m. on Parkhill Drive that a faceplate was stolen from a car stereo sometime overnight.

• A stereo and other items were stolen from a vehicle in the 3200 block of Conte Drive sometime overnight.

• Accident with injury at 1:54 p.m. at Clearview and Edmonds drives.

• Report of a bicycle stolen from the 1400 block of Rand Drive at 3:47 p.m.

• Report of a purse stolen out of a vehicle at 7:30 p.m. on Furgerson Ranch Road.

• Report of a cell phone and house keys stolen from the 1600 block of Brown Street at 10:51 p.m.
