Deborah Lynn Bearden, 53, a Carson City resident since 1969, passed away peacefully on Aug. 17, 2008. She was born April 19, 1955 to Edgar and Agnes Bearden in Dearborn, Mich. Debbie graduated from Carson High in 1972 and University of Nevada in 1976 as a nutritionist. She worked for the State of Nevada for 20 years.
She is survived by her brother, Roger Bearden and a nephew, Scott Bearden.
A funeral service will be 2-4 p.m., Friday at FitzHenry's Chapel of Faith. Inurnment will be at Lone Mountain Cemetery. FitzHenry's Funeral Home and Crematory is caring for arrangements.
The family wishes to extend its sincere appreciation and thanks to Vista Care Hospice and the Magnolia House for their extraordinary care and kindness, especially Carolyn, April and Chelo.
