Bryan Clay has taken a commanding lead after seven events in the decathlon at the Olympics in Beijing. Clay has 6,455 points while Oleksly Kasyanov has moved into second with 6,172 points.
Clay is coached by 1983 Carson High graduate Kevin Reid.
