Lorraine Ocenas, 85, a 32-year Carson City resident died on December 2, 2008.
Mrs. Ocenas was born July 6, 1923 in Fort Washakie, Wyo. to Fred and Blanche Stagner. She married William Ocenas in Riverton, Wyo. Before moving to Carson City, Mrs. Ocenas lived in Santa Clara, Calif.
She was a homemaker and a mother of three. She enjoyed bowling, crocheting and being with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Ocenas, son Gary Ocenas and daughter, Lorrae Bravo.
Among her survivors are her daughter and son-in-law Marjorie and John Johnston of Gardnerville, daughter-in-law Karen Ocenas of North Carolina, granddaughters, Stacy, Corrine, Kim, Colleen and Raelene, grandsons, John, Curt and Gabriel and eight great-grandchildren.
FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home cared for the arrangements.
