Redevelopment committee starts new downtown group

The Carson City Redevelopment Authority Citizen Committee has started a new group to help develop downtown, the Carson City Downtown Consortium.

"As a part of the Consortium process, small, multi-disciplinary, issue-oriented teams will probe, analyze and discuss matters pertinent to the implementation of many aspects of the downtown redevelopment vision, not only within its boundaries but also as it relates to the community-at-large," according to a press release.

The first meeting will be Feb. 26.
