Douglas Collins, 56, died at his home in Carson City February 13, 2008. He is survived by his loving family; wife, Stephanie, sons Tim and Chris, grandsons Hunter, Andrew, Troy and Garret; stepfather Robert Parkinson, brother James Collins, sisters Cindy Simpson and Kathy MacLeod, stepbrother Rod Parkinson and stepsister Jan.
He grew up in Thousand Oaks, Calif. and moved to Carson City in 1977 where he raised his family and built homes in Dougas, Washoe and Storey Counties. Doug was an avid outdoor sportsman and his favorite times were camping and fishing with his family and friends. He will be missed by many whose lives he touched with his generous spirit.
