What he does: Jacobsen runs a full-service janitorial company that provides services including waxing, stripping and office cleaning. He has two part-time employees.
How he started: He has worked in the janitorial field for years and then started a pressure washing businesses. He couldn't do that during the winter, however, and he started his current business in 2001.
What he likes about the job: Jacobsen said he likes working independently and being his "own guy." He also likes the sales part of the business.
The hardest part of the job: Finding someone he can trust to work for him and do the job right.
Plans for the business: He said he wants to expand the service as quickly as he can. "I want to become the biggest, baddest cleaning corporation in the area," he said.
