Lillie Mae "Judy" Pezzolo

Lillie Mae (Judy) Pezzolo, 82, of Carson City, passed away Feb 22, 2008 surrounded by family at her bedside. She was born March 25, 1925 in Graham, Okla. to Jessie and Rose Stidham.

Judy lived most of her life in the bay area and recently moved to Carson City to be near her family. Being three parts American Indian, Judy was a proud member of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma. Judy was the founder the National Organization for Mentally Impaired Children (NOMIC), an organization to help children with disabilities. Over the years Judy blossomed into a woman of great courage and strength, holding her love for her children closest in her heart.

She is survived by her daughters, Joanne Cluff and Christal Saint Denis; a son George Pezzolo; four grandchildren Victoria Stone, Erica Stone, Chelsea Cluff, and Tyler Cluff , one great granddaughter Sienna Stone, two step-daughters; Deborah Fowler and Angel Varnell, and by numerous nieces and nephews. Her devoted canine companions, Benji and Cookie, continue to reside in a loving home with relatives in Carson City.

Memorial services are being held at Autumn Funeral sand Cremations in Carson City on March 1, 2008 at 2:00 p.m.
