Babbitt sets state scoring record

Galena High's Luke Babbitt scored 31 points Saturday night to become the state of Nevada's all-time leading scorer for boy's basketball. The 31 points gives Babbitt 2,623 breaking the mark of Armon Johnson and Prince Fowler who both had 2,616. Babbitt broke the record when he made two free throws in the third quarter. Galena lost to Desert Pines 77-67.
