6-8 p.m. today, the Democratic presidential candidate debate cosponsored by the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, IMPACTO, 100 Black Men of America, the African American Democratic Leadership Council and the College of Southern Nevada will be telecast live by MSNBC from the Cashman Center in Las Vegas.


Former President Bill Clinton returns to Northern Nevada continuing to campaign for his wife, Hillary.

• 9 a.m. today at YMCA of the Sierra Gymnasium, 850 Baring Boulevard, Sparks

• 12:45 p.m. today at Carson City Fire Station No. 1, 777 South Stewart Street, Carson City

All events are free and open to the public.

• Scheduled to be in Northern Nevada on Thursday through Saturday with stops planned for Carson City, Minden and Gardnerville. More information to be made available this week.

Caucus location changes

The caucus for both parties will be Saturday. The GOP events begin at 9 a.m., Dems at 11 a.m. times are valid at all locations.

• Two GOP caucus locations have changed in Lyon County:

Silver City Republicans are to caucus at the Firehouse on High Street, and those in Fernley's precincts 32, 33 and 40 will meet at the Fernley City Justice Court building, next door to City Hall on Silver Lace Boulevard.
