Carson City


The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:


• A 54-year-old accountant from Carson City was arrested at 7:45 a.m. at College Parkway and Silver Stream on suspicion of misdemeanor failure to appear on a traffic citation out of Reno and failure to stop at a stop sign. Bail was set at $719.


• A 60-year-old retired Minden man was arrested at 3:40 p.m. in the 3700 block of South Carson Street on suspicion of misdemeanor petty larceny. He allegedly left a store without paying for milk, a book and a bag of pistachios. Bail was set at $337.


• Ronald John Vickney, 51, a laborer from Carson City, was arrested at 2:10 p.m. in the 3200 block of Market Street on Thursday on suspicion of felony burglary and felon failure to register. Bail was set at $2,367.


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:


• Report of a car parked in the travel lane on College Parkway at Airport Road at 1:06 a.m.


• Accident at Highway 50 East at Sherman Lane at 7:55 a.m.


• Accident at College Parkway at Northgate Lane at 12:02 p.m.


• Accident at 4:21 p.m. at Roop Street and College Parkway.


• Report of an intoxicated man sleeping near the bank in Safeway at 9:55 p.m.




Lyon County


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:


• Storage unit burglary report in Fernley on Highway 50 Alternate at 8:57 a.m.


• Dayton woman reported someone stole her bank account number and made charges against it at 12:21 p.m.


• Accident at Spruce Avenue in Silver Springs at 12:28 p.m.


• Report of a window broken on a vacant home on Foster Way in Fernley at 1:14 p.m.


• Coroner call on Augusta Court at 2:40 p.m. in Dayton.




Storey County


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:


• Arrest on Sutro Springs Road at 12:36 p.m.


• Traffic citation issued on Canyon Way at 1:21 p.m.


• Arrest on State Route 341 at 3:39 p.m.
