Margie Alice Walker, of Carson City, died July 10, 2008 at Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center.

She was born Nov. 18, 1924 to Albert and Gladys Steele in Trinidad, British West Indies. She was number 12 of 13 children. She became an American citizen in 1947.

Among her survivors are a son, Michael Roth of Carson City; daughters, Sandra Marzec (Robert) of Washington, and Debra Timmons (Daniel Sr.) of Carson City; sisters, Dorothy Cole (Guy) of Carson City, and Olga Gardner of California; niece, Sandra Timmons (John) of Genoa; grandchildren, Kevin Marzec (Ania) of Poland, Kellie Zinn (Mike) of Washington, and Daniel Timmons Jr. (Sara) of Sparks; great grandchildren, Milla Marzec, Makailer Zinn, and Tyson Timmons.

A Celebration of Life will be 3 p.m., Saturday at Comstock Mobile Village, 2601 College Parkway in the clubhouse.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Teresa's Church 3000 Lompa Lane Carson City, NV. 89706.
