Carson City


The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:


• A 29-year-old self-employed Carson City man was arrested at 10:14 p.m. at Beverly and Marian drives on suspicion of misdemeanor driving on a suspended license, and three failure to appear warrants for traffic violations. Bail was set at $2,067.


• A 36-year-old concrete worker from Carson City was arrested at 11:40 p.m. in the 2000 block of Lone Mountain Drive on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery. Bail was set at $3,132.


• James Lee Grisamer, 32, unemployed from Carson City, was arrested at 6:43 p.m. Monday in the 1100 block of Ginger Lane on suspicion of felony possession of a dangerous drug without a prescription, misdemeanor possession of a hypodermic device, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving on a suspended registration. Bail was set at $4,871. Also arrested was a 31-year-old Carson City man on suspicion of misdemeanor violation of a suspended sentence and obstructing a police officer, after he allegedly fled police from Grisamer's vehicle. His bail was set at $1,407.


• Mark Andrew Smith, 29, unemployed of Carson City, was arrested at 12:07 p.m. Monday in the 900 block of East Musser Street on suspicion of felony parole violation. No bail was set.


• Karla Del Carmen Sasso, 25, of Carson City, was arrested at 11:42 p.m. Monday on College Parkway at the freeway bypass on suspicion of gross misdemeanor child endangerment, misdemeanor drunken driving, failure to use due care, possession of a prescription drug without a prescription and bald tires. Bail was set at $5,093.


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:


• Report at 9:41 a.m. of an employee stealing from a business on North Carson Street.


• Report of a $642 check stolen from a mailbox in the 200 block of South Harbin Street.


• Coroner call in the 1800 block of East Long Street at 10:45 a.m.


• Accident at Medical Parkway and North Carson Street at 10:59 a.m.


• Report of rocks thrown through a vehicle window at 5:05 p.m. at Lompa Lane and Menlo Drive.


• A laptop and other items were reported stolen at 8:43 p.m. from the 1300 block of Jewell Drive.


Lyon County


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:


• A construction trailer was burglarized over the weekend on Carson River Road in Dayton Valley.


• A caller reported at 9:25 a.m. that her luggage fell off her vehicle at Goldfield Avenue and Main Street in Yerington. When she went back to retrieve it, the luggage, which contained her prescription medications, was gone.


• Arrest on Snowdrift Way at 9:21 a.m.


• Residential burglary report on Aspen Way in Fernley at 4:40 p.m.


• Misdemeanor arrest on Highway 95 Alternate in Silver Springs at 5:46 p.m.
