Motorcycle accident in north Carson City

Emergency crews are on the scene of a single motorcycle accident on Medical Parkway, just south of Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center.

The driver of the motorcycle was wearing a helmet, but it came off during the accident and he possibly lost consciousness.

The driver is alert at this time as medical personnel attend to him.

Drive carefully in the area as traffic will be affected.
