Today's weather will be sunny with highs 67-77 and west winds 10-20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph in the afternoon.

Tonight, clear with lows 37-47 with northwest winds 15-20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph decreasing to around 10 mph after midnight.

Saturday, sunny with highs 65-75 with northwest winds up to 10 mph. Saturday night, clear with lows 36-46 with northwest winds around 10 mph in the evening becoming light.

Sunday, sunny with highs 71-81 and light winds becoming northwest 10-15 mph in the afternoon.

Road work continues in Carson City with areas of delays, mainly Fairview Drive between Roop Street and South Lompa Lane, primarily between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., and Highway 50 East between Airport Road and Saliman Road.

Fairview Drive from Saliman Road to Roop Street will be closed westbound beginning Monday, June 9. Alternate routes of travel are Colorado Street to the south, and Little Lane to the north.

Traffic will be controlled at times; alternate routes are advised.

The Nevada Department of Transportation at 6:11 a.m. reports all routes open in Northern Nevada with no controls with the exception of a high wind warning on Highway 395 in Washoe Valley: campers and trailers not advised for 6.5 miles between Eastlake Boulevard and Winters Ranch.
