Carson City


The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:


• A 19-year-old theater manager from Carson City was arrested at 7:56 a.m. in the 900 block of Little Lane on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery. Bail was set at $3,132.


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:


• Coroner call in the 3000 block of North Ormsby Boulevard at 3:32 a.m.


• Accident in the 1800 block of College Parkway at 7:57 a.m.


• Accident in the 900 block of Beverly Drive at 9:37 a.m.


• Hit-and-run report on Musser Street at 11:50 a.m.


• Coroner call at Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center at 11:53 a.m.


• Residential burglary report on Madison Drive at 1:13 p.m.


• Battery report on Carriage Crest Drive at 3:05 p.m.


• Coroner call at Northern Nevada Correctional Center. Inmate Jack Leafdale, 66, died of natural causes at 7:56 p.m. Leafdale was sentenced to 72-120 months for DUI causing substantial bodily harm out of Clark County. His sentence would have expired in 2015.


• Coroner call in the 3000 block of North Ormsby Boulevard at 10:18 p.m.


• Coroner call at Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center at 10:59 p.m.


• Graffiti reports on Carmine and Poole Way.


Lyon County


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:


• A student was in the office at Riverview Elementary School in office for stealing at 1:45 p.m.


• A caller reported at 5:42 p.m. that a man who was driving aggressively flashed a gun when the caller tried to pass in Silver Springs.


Storey County


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:


• A man surrendered to police on a warrant at 3:36 p.m.


• Traffic citation issued at Five Mile Flat at 4:31 p.m.
