• Report of a student smoking marijuana in the bathroom at the high school at 8:52 a.m.

• Felony arrest at the Fernley Substation for a felon failing to register an address at 7:18 a.m.

• Report of an intoxicated man who was attempting to put his dog down when he suffered a self-inflicted gunshot wound to his hand in the 200 block of South Whitacre Street in Mason Valley at 9:12 a.m.

• Fight report on Branding Court in Fernley at 9:37 p.m.
