Carson High class of 1968 plans reunion


Carson High School Class of 1968 holds its 40th reunion the weekend of July 11 and 12. A gathering at the Old Globe, 6 p.m., Friday, July 11; 6 p.m., Saturday, July 12 a no-host cocktails and 7 p.m. buffet dinner and dance, Plaza Convention Center.

NARFE Chapter 1329 to meet


on Tuesday


NARFE Chapter 1329 will meet on Tuesday at Grandma Hattie's, South Carson St. at 11:15 a.m. for lunch (optional), the business meeting to follow at 12:15 p.m.

Disabled vets to meet Tuesday


The Disabled American Veterans Chapter No. 7 will have a corn beef and cabbage potluck, 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Veterans Hall, corner of Second and Curry streets. The regular meeting is at 7 p.m. for the chapter and the Auxiliary. All DAV members are encouraged to attend and all veterans welcomed. For information, call 885-7351.

Health project at senior center


The University of Nevada School of Medicine and the Sanford Center for Aging will conduct "Students to Seniors Connection for Health Information" project, 9:30-11:30 a.m. March 18 and 25 at the Douglas County Senior Center, 2300 Meadow Lane, Gardnerville. The aim of this computer class is to increase the comfort level of seniors, ages 60 and older, in using the Internet and to raise their awareness and use of beneficial health information resources. Reno harpist plays at Medical Center


As part of the Healing Arts program, Marina Roznitovsky, principal harpist of the Reno Chamber Orchestra, will perform in the Tahoe Tower Lobby at Renown Regional Medical Center, 4-5 p.m., today.
