Carson City


The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:


• A 42-year-old laborer from Carson City was arrested at 5:50 p.m. Wednesday in the 800 block of East Musser Street on suspicion of misdemeanor violation of an alternative sentence. Bail was set at $3,000.


• A 44-year-old carpenter from Carson City was arrested at 4:40 p.m. Wednesday in the 1600 block of Medical Parkway on suspicion of misdemeanor second-offense domestic battery. Bail was set at $3,132.


• A 44-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 6:46 p.m. Wednesday in the 3300 block of Debbie Way on suspicion of second-offense domestic battery. Bail was set at $3,132.


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:


• Graffiti reports on Northridge Drive, Spooner Drive, Roop Street, South Curry Street and South Carson Street.


• A vehicle struck a building on Rand Avenue at 7:52 a.m. and fled.


• Coroner call in the 3000 block of North Ormsby Boulevard at 7:53 a.m.


• A 20-foot dump trailer, with a 6 foot-by-14-foot dump box was reported stolen from the 1400 block of Chaparral Drive sometime Tuesday night.


• Coroner call in the 1700 block of Snyder Avenue at 1:07 p.m.


Lyon County


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:


• Misdemeanor arrest on Cottonwood Lane in Fernley at 3:17 a.m.


• Report of an attempted break-in at Dayton High School on Old Dayton Valley Road at 8 a.m.


• Report of three tires slashed on a school vehicle in the 300 block of Highway 95 Alternate in Fernley at 8:15 a.m.


• Burglary report on Citrus Street in Silver Springs at 10:27 a.m.


• A woman reported at 1:06 p.m. that her Silver Springs home was burglarized while she was in jail.
