George Walker, 76, a 20-year Virginia City resident, died May 5, 2008 at his home. He was born Nov. 30, 1931 in Ventura Calif. He is survived by wife Alora; son Jay; daughter-in-law Janet; daughter Sue Segale; and grandchildren Casey, Shaye, Corey and Caitlin. A celebration of life will be 2 p.m., Saturday, May 17 at the Ice House on Toll Road. Neptune Society of Nevada, Reno is in charge of arrangements.
