New pet supply store opens in Fernley

Fernley has a new pet store featuring good things for your cat or dog.

Chloe's Canine Cupboard Pet Supplies carries nutritious alternatives to regular dog and cat food.

Basically everything that's good for your pet can be found at the store at 150 E. Main Street, Suite 140; (775) 575-9292

Owner Rory Litch, who considers herself the "Leader of the Pack" and has three dogs, said she opened the store in Fernley because there "was nothing out here. No high quality holistic dog food. We carry all natural, made in the USA, food for dogs and cats that has never been on a recall list."

Litch operated a "Doggie Day Care" in Reno, called Wee Paws Playhouse, for several years.

Tiring of commuting, she put the business up for sale and is concentrating on her new endeavor of bringing quality foods, equipment and training to Fernley residents and their pets.

Hours for the new business are Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The store is closed for lunch from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. and closed on Sundays and Mondays.
